New Cad-Con 1000 Procedures
We would like to remind you to periodically test your wastewater to make sure you are getting the expected results when using Cad-Con 1000™. We discovered that using vinegar to clean alloy was having an adverse effect on wastewater testing results.
The acetic acid in vinegar, which lowers the pH of the reclaim wastewater, can impact the effectiveness of the Cad-Con 1000™. As a result, we are now recommending that all Cad-Con 1000™ users check the pH level of their wastewater before treatment, even if no vinegar is used, to make sure the water is at 6.5 or higher pH level. This will ensure that you continue to get the best possible performance from your Cad-Con 1000™ each and every time you use it.
Use a pH test strip to test your next tank of reclaim wastewater according to the directions provided by the strip manufacturer. If the pH is below 6.5, please contact us to order PSI’s pH Pre-Treat
Make sure you read the updated Cad-Con 1000™ procedures; thoroughly and put them into practice as soon as possible.
